Energy Output

Over the course of the expected 25-year life of the solar facility, output is expected to reach more than 200,000 MWh.

Power generated at the solar facility is put directly onto SMECO’s distribution system. Generation drops on overcast days (the amount of the drop correlates to the heaviness of the clouds). During the night, the project uses small amounts of power from the distribution system.
